Day 10 - Gold Mine, Mark Twain's Cabin and Yosemite

Day 10 - We left early this time for our drive down Highway 49 to Sutters Gold Mine. We enjoyed our tour 500-1000 feet underground where we walked through the actual tunnel created when the dug out the quartz that contained Gold. One section had $2million in one day. We drove south towards Yosemite spotting at a cabin where Mark Twain spent the winter of 1864-1865. Then we contined south. We stopped at Evergreen lodge for that necessary internet and phone usage (yeah My space!). We got into our Campsite at about 8pm (yes a little late!)

I made it home safe and sound, minus my baggage that the airline misplaced. Ah well, I got it back the next day. I'm so sorry I couldn't stay the full trip, you guys and girls are great and you look like you're having so much fun! Enjoy the last couple days of your adventure! -Jenn

Well, Julia looks like she's still in one piece in your most recent picture. I'm sure I'll be hearing about that fall in a couple of days. You guys don't look too tired still posing in your pictures despite your go,go,go agenda. I just returned from beautiful New Hampshire and Massachussets but I'm drooling with envy of your stay in Yosemite, one of the jewels of California! Still wishing you lots of fun and warm camaraderie. See you on Saturday.
